Annually, at the end of the year Gradworx presents an exciting Shark Tank-like challenge for all our learners in the induction program,and at the end of the year we host an event, with well-known entrepreneurs and investors as evaluators.

Gradworx Guppy Tank Entrepreneurial Incubator: We love promoting entrepreneurship and Gradworx turn “light bulb” ideas into viable business opportunities. Behind every successful entrepreneur’s dream is hard work, coaching, information, training, opportunities, vigorous debate, and a set of entrepreneurial skills and attitudes.
Entrepreneurship is a major source of economic growth, wealth generation and job creation. The Harvard Business School list 10 Characteristics of Successful Entrepreneurs (7 July 2020) specifically: Curiosity, Structured experimentation, Adaptability, Decisiveness, Team building, Risk tolerance, Comfortable with failure, Persistence, Innovation and Long-term focus. Gradworx empowers and support entrepreneurs in two ways:
• Gradworx entrepreneur’s academy and entrepreneurial incubator
• The Gradworx “Guppy Tank” prize and fund-raising opportunity.
You have probably heard of or watched the “Shark Tank” investment and entrepreneurial show?
Gradworx has its own -entrepreneur friendly version of the “Shark Tank-called the “Guppy Tank”.
Gradworx invites two groups of young entrepreneurs to apply for its free entrepreneurial incubator program:
• Entrepreneurs in Grade 8 to 12 (Apply here)
• Enrolled and registered students at any university or college In South Africa
Free training on a QCTO short course: New Venture Creation with a QCTO and Gradworx certification.
Annually, at the end of the year Gradworx presents an exciting Shark Tank-like challenge for all our learners in the induction program,
and at the end of the year we host an event, with well-known entrepreneurs and investors as evaluators.
The winners will receive a cash prize and a trophy and the chance of an entrepreneur investing in their idea or product.
